Doctoral Oral Qualifying Examination Checklist
In addition to the completion of written exams, Doctoral candidates are required to complete an oral comprehensive between semesters 3 and 5.
It is expected that all of the documentation related to the advisory committee for the candidate will have been submitted and all advisory committee members approved as either graduate, special or associate graduate faculty.
If advisory committee members have not been approved, the suggested schedule in the table cannot be adhered to.

· If the candidate is not successful, they should meet with the chair of the examination committee and committee members to discuss their project.
· A second examination will be scheduled to take place within one semester of the first examination.
