Supermath Day is a unique opportunity for senior-level students to immerse themselves in a day of interactive mathematics activities on our campus. Get ready for an engaging day filled with sessions that will stimulate active participation and give you a taste of university life!

Typical Supermath Day Schedule

  • 9:20-9:40 - Arrival: Start your day at the University Centre. You’ll be welcomed and escorted to a lecture room on campus. Enjoy some juice and light snacks as you mix with students, teachers from other schools, and our mathematics and statistics faculty. 
  • 9:40-9:45 - Welcoming Remarks 
  • 9:45-10:45 - Activity #1: Dive into an interactive mathematics activity led by a University of Guelph Mathematics Professor. 
  • 10:45-11:00 - Break 
  • 11:00-12:00 - Activity #2: Engage in another interactive mathematics activity, led by a University of Guelph Mathematics Professor. 
  • 12:00-1:00 - Lunch: You’re welcome to bring your own lunch, purchase lunch from one of our many on-campus cafeterias and restaurants, or return to your school for lunch.
