University Closed Friday, Exams, Operations to Resume Saturday

Due to severe winter weather conditions, the University has adopted weather emergency procedures and remains closed, Friday March 2. All Friday classes and examinations are cancelled, as well as all events that were scheduled to be held on campus. Only essential workers are requested to come to work.

It is anticipated that the University of Guelph will resume regular operations, including examinations, on Saturday, March 3. It will be noted on this website if the scheduled reopening is delayed for any reason.

The decision to close is based on a variety of factors, including the most recent weather and road information, as well as the availability of public transportation and snow removal crews.
