Town Hall meeting to discuss Master Plan

Mary-Elizabeth Flynn, chair of the Campus Master Plan Steering Committee and member of the Board of Governors, invites the University community to a town hall meeting Feb. 28 at noon in Peter Clark Hall to discuss the campus master plan.

This is the second town hall meeting the committee has held. It is a continuation of the group's consultative process. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit input from the community on the issues that have emerged from feedback of prior meetings with stakeholders.

The town hall meeting will include a presentation on the working paper recently completed by the University's consultants. The paper is a summary of work in progress. This includes an assessment of campus physical systems, a draft list of planning principles and explorations or planning concepts that illustrate possible responses to the issues raised during the consultation process last fall. This information will be available on the Web at http://www.pr.uoguelph.ca/masterplan and at the library.
