Seminar on environments of China, Canada to be held at U of G

The symposium, intended to explore ways of furthering the rural economy and way of life in China, will be held in Macdonald Hall, Room 121. Following opening speeches by U of G President Mordechai Rozanski and representatives from the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto, morning and afternoon sessions will focus on Canada-China integrated dairy cattle breeding projects, soil and water resource management, China's economic boom and rural economy, genetically modified foods and technology.

The event is sponsored by the Guelph Chinese Student and Scholar Association with assistance from U of G and the Chinese Consulate in Toronto.
