Flags at half-mast in memory of student

The campus flags are at half-mast today in memory of first-year University of Guelph student Makala King.

King, 19, was killed in a two-vehicle car crash Dec. 23 just north of Barrie.

She was a middle hitter for the Gryphons women's volleyball team. The entire women's volleyball team and members of U of G's athletic department attended King's Dec. 27 memorial service at St. Theresa's high school gymnasium in Midland.
