Town hall meeting to assist with search for new Provost announced

The Search Committee for Provost and Vice-President (Academic) invites members of the University community, including all faculty, students and staff, to attend a town hall meeting to assist with the development of a position profile that will be used to recruit and inform potential candidates for provost and vice-president (academic). The profile will include information about the position, the institution and the opportunities and challenges facing the provost and the University over the next several years. The search committee is interested in, among other things, the characteristics and qualifications to be sought in candidates.

The town hall meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 from Noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 103, University Centre.

In addition to inviting community members to participate in the town hall meeting, the search committee welcomes your comments and advice via e-mail at search@uoguelph.ca.

Ongoing updates about the search process and details about the membership of the search committee are available at www.uoguelph.ca/info/vpsc.
