University's business operations reduced during winter holidays
The University of Guelph’s normal business operations will be reduced from 5 p.m. Dec. 24 until Monday, Jan. 3 for winter holidays. Most university offices and programs, including the McLaughlin Library, will be closed during this period.
Academic and administrative offices will re-open on Monday, and regular class schedules resume on Monday, Jan. 10.
To provide service to the university community, some departments and programs are open and operating on reduced hours during the holiday period. This includes the Mitchell Athletics Centre, which will be open Dec. 27-31 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Jan. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Campus Community Police will also be open, and may be reached at Ext. 52000 in case of emergencies, and at Ext. 52245 for non-emergency calls.
