Food Science Building Open
The Ontario Ministry of Health has advised the University that it is safe to reopen the Food Science Building. Laboratory tests concluded that the substance in the envelope sent to the Ministry earlier this week was ink powder.
As a result, the Food Science Building will reopen at 6 a.m. on Thursday, October 18. We are grateful for the patience and support shown by faculty, staff and students.
The University continues to advise the community to follow the suggested precautions for detecting or handling suspicious packages/letters. Please refer to the October 15 bulletins for more information.
