Fall preview day to attract hundreds to U of G

More than 1,800 prospective students and their parents will visit the University of Guelph Sunday, Oct. 24 for Fall Preview Day, the largest on-campus recruitment event this fall.

Visitors will gather at U of G between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Events and activities include campus tours, a welcome address by President Mordechai Rozanski and a panel discussion featuring students, staff and faculty. The panel will address issues such as admissions, finances/scholarships, the Office of First Year Studies program, student housing and the U of G community lifestyle. The opening session will be from 10 - 11 a.m. in the gymnasium of the Mitchell Athletic Centre.

Starting at 12:30 p.m., staff, students, faculty and volunteers will meet visitors in the main courtyard at the University Centre. They will be available to discuss all facets of university life, ranging from academic programs to campus services and student organizations.
