Donna Woolcott to become VP (Academic) at Mount Saint Vincent

Donna Woolcott, the University of Guelph’s assistant vice-president (academic), has been appointed vice-president (academic) at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The appointment takes effect August 15.

“I am absolutely delighted for Donna,” says Alastair Summerlee, vice-president (academic). “While this is a loss for U of G, it is a gain for Mount Saint Vincent. Her appointment to this prestigious position is also a positive reflection on our University. We are very sorry to see her go, but are pleased for her. On behalf of the University, I am pleased to wish her well for the challenges ahead.”

Woolcott joined U of G’s faculty in 1979 as an assistant professor in the then-Department of Family Studies.
