Journalist John Fraser to give talk at U of G
John Fraser, an award-winning journalist, author and scholar, will speak with University of Guelph students and community members May 1 at 7 p.m. in the Ontario Veterinary College's Lifetime Learning Centre cafeteria. The event is free.
The evening, which will include an informal presentation on the role of critics and reviewers of arts and culture, is the third and final presentation in the College of Arts speaker series on books and publishing. The lecture is sponsored by the U of G Alumni Association.
The speaker series has aimed to expose the community to the world of writing and publishing in Canada. The first two talks were given by Douglas Gibson, publisher of McClelland and Stewart, and Alistair McLeod, author of No Great Mischief.
