Panel discussion to focus on state of higher education
The Central Students Association (CSA) is hosting a panel discussion Tuesday night on postsecondary education in Ontario. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Bull Ring and is open to everyone.
Subjects to be discussed include the postsecondary education review being conducted by former premier Bob Rae, recent government funding cuts, tuition and student debt.
Panelists include Leslie Church, a member of the Rae review team; Alastair Summerlee, U of G president; Prof. Carol Dauda, Department of Political Science; Prof. Bill Frisbee, Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies; and Jenn Watt, CSA’s academic commissioner.
