Citizenship & Leadership Education Workshops Coming

Citizenship & Leadership Education, in Student Life and Career Services is offering three workshops March 8 to 10 to prepare graduating students for leadership beyond the U of G campus. They are the final offerings in their series of Leadership Education Workshops.

“Challenge of Choice” takes place on March 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in UC 332. This event brings together a panel of U of G alumni to speak about how their campus leadership experience prepared them for personal and professional success.

On March 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in UC 332 is “Mentoring Relationships”, an exploration of the relationship between a mentor and a mentee as a learning and supportive learning environment based on life experience. Participants will be given tips on how to seek out the mentor they want and need.

The “Lifelong Leadership Luncheon” on March 10, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in UC 103 will be an opportunity for students to meet and speak with community leaders in academics, business, politics, social justice and spirituality over a complimentary lunch. Limited space is available, and students must register by March 4th.
