Welcome to the website for the Office of the Vice-President (Finance, Administration & Risk) at the University of Guelph. This website is designed to provide you with an overview of the portfolio and to provide helpful links to the departments that make up the Office.
Reporting to the President, the Vice-President (Finance, Administration & Risk) oversees a broad range of services that support the University's core teaching/research/service mission by providing quality specialized services to the Guelph community; providing a safe, healthy and productive environment for students, faculty and staff in which to work, study and live; and by ensuring fiscal responsibility.
Six distinct operational units make up the portfolio reporting to the Vice- President:
- Campus Community Police, Fire Prevention and Parking Services and Transportation Planning;
- Financial Services
- Hospitality Services
- Human Resources
- Physical Resources
- Real Estate Division.
Our diverse services are provided in a collaborative, professional and planned manner and the ability to deliver on these services is directly attributable to the people who make up the Finance and Administration Division.
The Vice-President participates actively in the Council of Senior Administrative Officers, an affiliate of the Council of Ontario Universities.
The Vice-President's office is located in the Executive Office Suite on the fourth floor of the University Centre.
