Showcase the Gryphon experience with Admission Services!
Admission Services invites applications to our Social Media Ambassador Program to help showcase U of G to prospective students. If you're creative, reliable, enjoy content creation, and have a fresh perspective, we strongly encourage you to apply!
As a member of our ambassador team, you'll team up with 6-8 fellow ambassadors to create engaging content for our social media channels. Be prepared to step in front of the camera, highlight your creativity, and have some fun while gaining experience creating digital content for a unique audience!
How it Works
Social Media Ambassadors create fun and educational content for prospective University of Guelph students. These videos will be posted to Instagram and TikTok (@UofGAdmission). Ambassadors must be comfortable creating TikToks, Instagram Reels, Instagram stories, and main feed posts.

Recent trends
Attending/coverage of events
International perspective content
Features and experiences unique to the City of Guelph and U of G
Mandatory 30-minute bi-weekly meetings will begin in November and continue through April 2026. We’ll be mindful of exam periods and school breaks—no mandatory meetings will be scheduled during those weeks.
Compensation Details
Participation in the program is tracked using a points system. Once work has been completed, students will be awarded points based on the quantity and quality of what has been produced. In general, one TikTok/reel is equivalent to 1-2 points. In addition, ambassadors are expected to attend bi-weekly brainstorming meetings with the rest of the team.

| Level 6 | Earn 50 Credits | $200 ($1,000 total) |
Compensation will be provided as one payment at the end of the year. You will receive written notice of your credit standing at the end of the fall 2025 semester and then again after the winter 2026 semester. Additional perks may include U of G swag, group lunches, and access to campus events.
