Current Students – Course Selection

Please note that the last day for current students (everyone except the incoming first year students) to add Summer and Fall courses is Friday, May 20th.

Current students can add Fall courses during the next course selection period for current students, June 6th - June 10th.

Incoming first year students can continue to select courses until Monday, July 4th.

Summer Office Hours

For the Summer semester, our office doors will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am-3:00pm. Appointments outside of these times can be made if they are arranged in advance by calling the office during our open door hours (ext. 54800). These hours will begin the week of May 16th. Please note that our office has limited staff this summer so there may be times when the office is closed during our posted open hours. Please check the announcements for up to date information about hours or call the office at extension 54800 to check current availability.

Fall and Summer Semester Add Period

The next opportunity to add courses to your Fall and Summer schedule is on Wednesday, May 11th, 2016. This Add Period will remain open until Friday, May 20th, 2016. When selecting courses during this Add Period be sure to check for exam conflicts in the Summer semester. Students must not enrol in courses with conflicting exams (exams which are at the same time on the same day). The Fall semester exam schedule will be posted at a later date. 

No Weekly Drop In Hours During Summer Semester

Weekly drop in hours will not be offered during the summer semester. The last day for weekly drop in hours will be Tuesday, April 26th. If you would like to meet with Melinda during the summer, please call extension 54800 during our open door hours. 

Final Grades – Winter Semester

Grades will begin to be displayed on WebAdvisor on Friday, April 29th, 2016.

Please note that once a grade has been processed in the Office of Registrarial Services that course will no longer display on your “Class Schedule” or on your “Register and Drop Sections” screen on WebAdvisor. This may happen before grades are released.  

Missed Final Assignment or Final Exam? – Winter Semester

If you have missed a final exam or a final assignment, please contact the Program Counselling Office (Johnston Hall, 133A or ext. 54800) during open door hours (Monday-Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm; Friday 10:00am-12:00pm) to discuss your options. You have five working days after the missed exam or final assignment deadline to submit a request for a deferred privilege, so please contact the office as soon as you are able. If you are unable to contact the office due to extreme circumstances, please take care of yourself first and then contact the office. 

Graduation Applications – Winter Semester

All graduation applications have been processed. If you were not contacted by me, your application has been moved to "Tentative". This means you have all the correct courses and the right amount of credits; all that is left is for you to successfully complete your current courses and have a 60% cumulative average. Enjoy the rest of the semester and good luck on exams!
