Here is the presentation from the B.Sc. (Agr.) Program Meeting.
The last day to add classes to your schedule for Fall 2014 is Friday, September 12th, 2014 at 11:59 pm. You may change your courses on WebAdvisor until this time. Any Course Waiver Request forms must be submitted to the Registrar's Office by 4:30 pm on Friday the 12th.
The first day of classes is Thursday, September 4th.
Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 2nd for the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Program Meeting. The meeting starts at 1:00pm in MacKinnon 117. Staff, faculty and students will be on hand to welcome you and give you an overview of your program. Plan to attend!
From September 2nd to September 12th, Melinda, your Program Counsellor, will have drop in hours (instead of appointments). Drop in hours are times when you can ask questions about your courses in the order you arrive during the drop in times. There will be a sign up sheet for each time slot that will be made available 15 minutes prior to the start of the drop in time.
Monday September 1: Holiday- Office Closed
Tuesday September 2: Drop In 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Wednesday September 3: Not Available
Grades for the Summer 2014 semester will be released on Friday, August 22nd.
AGR 1110 has opened new spaces, so if you still need it, please select it on WebAdvisor. I recognize that CHEM 1040, and workable sections of BIOL 1050 are rare, so please contact me, Melinda (firstname.lastname@example.org), if you run into troubles registering. I also encourage you to keep checking on WebAdvisor for spaces that become available. The schedules are in flux right now so you may find a section that works an hour after there were none!
The department is continuing to work on space issues in MBG 2400, ANSC 3120 and ANSC 3080. The update I have for now is that Heather Bailey is the new contact if you still need to be put on the wait list. Laurie Parr is retiring, but I can assure you she has given all of your names to Heather. Heather's email address is: email@example.com. Please check back for other updates; I hope to have one soon.
Our Summer Office Hours will end this week and our office doors will be open Mondays to Thursdays from 10am to 3pm and Fridays from 10am to 12pm starting on Monday, August 18th.
Course Registration for the Fall Semester will open on August 18th at midnight. If you did not pay your $200 deposit on or before August 8th, your courses will be removed from your schedule. The Registrar's Office will notify you via email if you were deregistered from your courses. You must pay this deposit before you can add courses to your schedule again. It is your responsibility to add your courses back to your schedule on WebAdvisor if you have been deregistered; your previous space is not guaranteed.
