2021 CCSAW 3MT Research Symposium

Date and Time

Online Zoom meeting.

After being cancelled last year due to COVID-19, the Campbell Centre for the Study of Animal Welfare (CCSAW) Annual Research Symposium is back! To ease being on-line for too long, a number of our students have prepared Three Minute Thesis (3MT) style presentations.

On Wednesday May 12th, from 09:30 to 11:40 h (EST), we will watch these short three-minute presentations, and have Q&A time after each one. Another aspect of audience participation will involve attendees voting for their favourite 3MT presentation, which will receive a special People’s Choice Award. You do not need to pre-register for the event and there is no charge to attend. The link to join is below and will also be circulated via our CCSAW listserv and our Twitter account so Follow us there, or get on our listserv to receive notices about all our events, by sending an email to ccsaw@uoguelph.ca.

The event schedule is currently as follows:

09:30 h Welcome & Remarks from CCSAW Director, Dr. Georgia Mason

09:35 h Welcome from U of Guelph VP Research, Dr. Malcolm Campbell

09:45 h Presentations: Behaviour and welfare of poultry
