Taika von Königslöw is a D.V.Sc. candidate advised by Dr. Todd Duffield and Dr. David Kelton. She is currently researching a prudent use of antimicrobial drug strategy for calves on arrival in a veal operation. Before becoming a practicing food animal veterinarian, she completed a M.Sc. in Integrative Biology at the University of Guelph with research focusing on informatics tools for DNA sequence data analysis. This research included the creation of a tool for identify diagnostic characters in DNA sequence data for use species identification.
