What should departments do for Staff leaving the University?

The Human Resources Department at the University of Guelph maintains the Termination Check List [1].
Departments are responsible for adhering to this check list of duties including but not limited to the following:

  • U.of.G. I.D. cards are to be collected, to be deactivated. 

  • Departments that employ a dedicated Electronic Access Administrator are to remove staff building access, or

  • Departments may also send Email to the Electronic Access Group, to remove employee’s building access at eaccess@uoguelph.ca [2]
