In our U of G November 2023 Wellness Survey staff and faculty revealed that a greater emphasis on growth and development, one of the psychosocial factors of well-being, is desired. Let’s Get Growing equips leaders with the tools to foster employee growth and retention through intentional conversations and development-focused team interactions. This masterclass helps leaders make every meeting an opportunity for staff development, empowering their teams and team members to learn, grow, and stay engaged. Through practical techniques and the Lead, Learn, Grow! conversation cards, you’ll discover how to embed learning into your team culture, creating an environment where employees thrive and stay.

Objectives

Leaders will:

• Engage with Lead, Learn, Grow! conversation cards to spark ideas and actionable strategies for staff and team development.
• Explore two practical use cases for applying conversation cards in team meetings and identify how to adapt them to their own teams.
• Create and share commitments to prioritize employee growth, embedding development into regular staff and team interactions and fostering a culture of retention and engagement.
