Do you ever find yourself holding back—waiting for external praise, worrying about how you’ll be perceived, or minimizing your presence in the room? These “hiding strategies” and patterns of seeking validation can quietly limit your leadership, confidence, and impact. This workshop will build on the Women at Work and Wellness lunch series and provide a strong foundation for women who want to move beyond the patterns that keep them from fully stepping into their potential. Participants will learn ways to quiet the Inner Critic and connect with their Inner Mentor—that wise, grounded inner voice that offers clarity and guidance. Through a blend of reflection, practical tools, and group discussion, participants will:

  • Recognize how praise-seeking and hiding strategies show up and hold them back.
  • Build awareness of the Inner Critic—its tactics, triggers, and how to respond skillfully.
  • Learn to access and trust the Inner Mentor as a steady source of confidence and direction.
  • Practice strategies that cultivate courage, authenticity, and presence in leadership and life.
