The Guelph Food Bank has extended the date for the Thanksgiving Food Drive to October 29 in an effort to reach their goal of collecting 80,000 pounds of food.

A donation bin is available in Human Resources for food drop off weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Human Resources is located on the 5th floor of the University Centre (South).

Needed items include:

• Canned Fruits
• Canned Tomatoes
• Canned Vegetables
• Peanut Butter, Jam and Cheese Spreads
• Soups and Stews
• Canned Meat
• Juice (Powdered, Canned, Etc)
• No Sugar Foods
• Rice and Rice Products
• Toiletries
• No Salt Foods
• Spaghetti Sauce
• Beans and Lentils
• Pasta
• Diapers and Pull–ups
• Baby Food and Cereals
