Why Dirty-Looking Money Makes Us Spend More

November 9th 2012 - MCS Associate Professor Theodore Noseworthy and professor Fabrizio Di Muro of the University of Winnipeg, explored how spending behaviors are affected by how money physically looks. The results found that people are driven to spend old or grimy bills more readily than newly-minted ones. Full article featured in Time Magazine [1].
