University of Guelph Real Estate and Housing students competed recently at the Undergraduate Real Estate Case Competition (URECC) in Toronto, bringing home top prizes. The students were tasked with creating a proposal to redevelop a property in Toronto’s transitioning neighbourhood of Corktown. A panel of industry leaders conducted a blind judging process to evaluate the proposals and presentations from the seven teams representing five universities.

This was the second year of the URECC, which was launched by University of Guelph Real Estate and Housing students in 2015 and expanded this year to include universities from across Canada.
