Section of Gordon Street Sidewalk to Close
Starting Thursday, a section of sidewalk along the east side of Gordon Street will be closed for about six weeks to allow for installation of underground utilities for Phase 2 of the science complex.
The section of sidewalk runs between Phase 1 of the complex to the Gordon Street entrance of the Axelrod Building. The driveway leading to the complex will remain operational, as will the city bus stop in front of the Axelrod Building.
All pedestrian traffic should use alternate routes to get around campus, including Stadium Walk to the north and the sidewalk located south of the Axelrod Building. Please allow additional time to get to campus destinations, especially during exam time.
In addition, please cross Gordon Street at designated crosswalks only.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the closure and appreciate your patience and co-operation.
