Gabriel Ferraro has yet to be thoroughly tested as a kicker in the Canadian Football League, but he is certainly prepared for the professional game after an illustrious career with the Guelph Gryphons.

Ferraro was recently signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders after their regular kicker, Brett Lauther, went down with an injury. The acquisition was covered in an Ottawa Citizen story. In his first game, Ferraro had two field goal attempts, making one of them.

Ferraro studied leadership and organizational management at U of G. He was selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the 2017 CFL draft. He set a U Sports single-season record with 33 field goals in 2017.
