This course comprises a study of pharmacological terminology; basic mechanisms of absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and actions of drugs; legal aspects of pharmacology; and a discussion of drug classes commonly used in veterinary medicine. Drug dose calculation skills learned in 97-204, are also reviewed. |
