Award Description

L. A. Beattie & J. C. Beattie Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of Lillie Ann Beattie and Jeannie Cockburn Beattie by the estate of Jessie L. Beattie. The scholarship is awarded in alternating years. To be awarded in the B.Comm. program in 1996.

Qualifications: Student entering the College of Family and Consumer Studies and who achieved the highest mark in English during the final year of high school. In the event of a tie, preference will be given to students from rural areas.

Amount: Scholarship in the amount of $300.
