Award Description

Luke Thomson Memorial Award

Donated by Dr. Catherine Thomson McGhie (OVC '91), in memory of her beloved German Shepherd dog Luke. Article submission to the OVC Awards Committee by January 1.

Qualifications: Students enrolled in the DVN program who have submitted an article suitable for publication dealing with the Human-Companion Animal Bond and its relevance in Veterinary Practice. The recipient will be selected on the basis of the assessment of the article completed according to CVJ format for Brief Communications.

Amount: $500 annually.
