61-216 The Roman Moral Tradition F(3-0)

A consideration of texts that examine the concepts of duty, piety, goodness and happiness. The course shows what is distinctive about Roman treatments of issues first raised by Greek thinkers. (Offered in even-numbered years.)

Prerequisites: 61-200.
