Independent study of a selected topic in microbiology, involving a review and critical appraisal of the current literature. Written and oral presentations are required. Students are required to discuss a topic with a potential supervisor before registering for the course. Open to students in semesters 6, 7 and 8 of B.Sc. specialized honours microbiology.
