An interdisciplinary course for physical science students which provides an introduction to modern concepts of the structure of atoms and of condensed matter. Nuclear, atomic and molecular bonding are discussed and applied to technologically important materials, including semi-conductors and macromolecules. |
Prerequisites: OAC Physics, OAC Chemistry, OAC Calculus, OAC Algebra and Geometry or equivalents. |
Corequisites: 66-111, 66-112. |
