This course integrates existing knowledge in several areas - nutrition, metabolism and immunology. Of particular interest are the underlying mechanisms of nutritional immunomodulation with particular reference to the human problem of protein-energy malnutrition. Food sensitivities and the immunological functions of milk will also be considered. Department of Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences.
