89-326 Modern Nonparametric Statistics W(3-2)

Nonparametric rank tests for 1 sample, 2 sample, multiple samples cases. Nonparametric measures of correlation. Scatterplot smoothing and semi-parametric regression. Practical uses of the techniques. The computer lab involves interactive data analysis and investigation of the methodology. (Offered in odd-numbered years.)

Prerequisites: (63-121 or 66-121), 89-310, 89-205.
