Course Description

93-383 Avian Diseases -- Health Management W(2-1)

The etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical findings, postmortem lesions and treatment of the diseases of avian species (poultry, pet and aviary birds) are described in this course. Students will be taught how to examine birds, reach a diagnosis and recommend treatment and how to institute measures for prevention and control. There will be particular emphasis on health maintenance. Department of Pathology
