XIII--Associate Diploma
The two-year Associate Diploma program is offered by the Ontario Agricultural College, University of Guelph, with financial support from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs. It is intended for those with Ontario Year 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent, or the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or better. The objective of the two-year Associate Diploma program in Agriculture is to provide an education mid-way between the professional and skilled labour levels.
Associate Diploma in Agriculture students who have obtained a minimum of 70% standing are eligible for consideration for admission to the B.Sc.(Agr.) program. Credits for courses completed in the Associate Diploma program will be assigned at the time of admission. Interested students are encouraged to consult their departmental advisor or the director of the Associate Diploma program for further details when making course selections.
