This course is designed to provide an understanding of diseases of the hemopoietic, endocrine, and enteric systems plus interpretive clinical biochemistry and cytopathology. Diseases of developmental, inflammatory, hyperplastic and neoplastic nature are described. The laboratories are designed to provide structural/functional correlations with the lectures and, in addition, to provide instruction in the interpretation of gross and microscopic pathology of tissues from necropsy.
