Description
Pre-proposals for the Fishery Research Program and Sea Lamprey Research Program are being accepted until January 15, 2021. Please review the call for proposals [1] before submitting your pre-proposal. Pre-proposals should be submitted through the online portal [2], which contains detailed submission instructions.
Proposals are evaluated for relevance and scientific merit and against information needs identified by the Research Themes under which they are submitted.
Funding Availability
Individual awards are typically between $35,000 and $100,000 per year. Note that the funding limit for pilot projects has increased to $20,000.

Project Duration
Projects may not have a start date before January 1, 2022.

External Deadline | An electronic copy of your pre-proposal is due by January 15, 2020 11:59 pm EST. Create an account, or log in to an existing account, at http://www.glfc.org/proposal/login.php [2] to upload an electronic copy of your pre-proposal as a Microsoft Word file or .pdf to the online pre-proposal submittal system. The electronic pre-proposal submitted online must include the necessary signatures. In addition to submitting an electronic copy of your pre-proposal, investigators are required to input proposal details into the proposal system. Investigators are encouraged to visit the proposal system in advance of the deadline. |
