Description

The Research Services Office (RSO) is pleased to present SSHRC Partnership Pathways: Insights, Strategies & Support to any faculty members at the University of Guelph interested in SSHRC Partnerships.  This session will provide helpful advice and tips for faculty preparing an upcoming SSHRC Partnership Development Grant or SSHRC Partnership Grant – Stage 1 application. 

Topics we will cover include:

  • SSHRC Partnerships Overview - Kristin Zimmermann, Senior Grants & Contracts Specialist, RSO
  • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in research practice and design - Joanne Garcia-Moores, Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisor in Research, RSO
  • Knowledge mobilization (KMb) to ensure that research findings are used, shared, and co-created with relevant audiences beyond academia – Valerie Hruska - Knowledge Mobilization and Communications Coordinator, Research Innovation Office (RIO)
  • Panel Discussion - Moderated by Prof. Sandeep Mishra, Associate Professor, Department of Management, Lang School of Business and Economics and institutional representative to the SSHRC Leaders network.
