University regrets delay in posting grades

Final grades for Fall semester will not be available as planned due to the University adopting emergency weather procedures and closing Dec. 23 and 24.

The University deeply regrets that the closure affected the schedule for releasing grades, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Staff will work diligently to ensure that grades will be available on WebAdvisor by Jan. 4, 2005.

The decision to close the University was based on a variety of factors, including recent weather and road information, and foremost, the safety of members of the University community.

As noted earlier, the University’s normal business operations will be reduced until Monday, Jan. 3 for winter holidays. Most university offices and programs will be closed during this period.

Knowing that staff have family commitments and other plans for the winter holidays, the decision was made not to require employees from registrarial services to work during this period to expedite the posting of grades.

The University hopes that all members of the community will be understanding and supportive of this decision.
