Special student registration

There is a special registration for students (particularly high-school students) who want to attend the presentations at the Hunger Summit but do not wish to participate in the conference dinners. The special student registration is $50 including taxes and covers participation in all the presentations, panel and networking sessions, lunches and coffees/teas at breaks during the day. It does not cover attendance at the dinners on the Friday and Saturday nights.

Please check the "special student registration" on the registration site to ensure you register for the Summit.

Application for travel scholarships

Travel scholarships are made available by the generous donation of the sponsors to the conference and by individuals and organizations seeking to ensure that students have financial assistance to attend the 10th Annual Summit.

University of Guelph students should apply directly to the local chapter of Universities Fighting World Hunger at the University of Guelph and/or to Student College governments. Both sets of organizations have set aside funds to cover registration costs and may be able to support travel costs.

Students applying for travel grants from outside the University of Guelph should make an application for funds using the process below. Please note that funds will be made available as a grant of either $250 or $500 (Canadian) to support registration and travel to the meeting. Make sure that you use the options for discounted travel in making your travel plans to attend the Summit (see Travel section for how to apply for discounts).
