Alanna Turner – new Client Services position

The AHL would like to welcome Alanna Turner as our new Client Services Technician. Alanna has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Education degree from Lakehead University. She has worked extensively with large and small animals at the Ontario Veterinary College and various farms. Alanna comes to us from the Specimen Reception unit where she served as a Client Services Representative and previously also worked as a research assistant in the Virology laboratory at the AHL.

Xi Xue – new Scientist position - Virology

The AHL Virology Laboratory is delighted to welcome Xi Xue as our newest Scientist and looks forward to further strengthening our research and diagnostic capabilities. Xi holds both an MSc and a PhD and brings more than 15 years of experience in molecular biology, genomics, and diagnostics, with extensive expertise in next-generation sequencing and PCR. Xi’s deep knowledge and technical background will help advance AHL's commitment to delivering innovative solutions for animal virus detection and characterization.
