OMAFA and the U of G agree effective governance is important to achieve the objectives of the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance.
As part of the current agreement, the joint governance model [1]was updated. This model is collaborative, accountable and transparent.
Governance Committees
The structure is comprised of a series of committees – some responsible for the oversight of the Alliance, and some responsible for program delivery.
All committees operate under their own terms of reference, membership, and specific responsibilities. These responsibilities and requirements are outlined in the Master Agreement and in the Committees' respective schedules of the Alliance.
