From Business Grad to Business Owner
Jeremy Wright graduated from the University of Guelph’s Economics, Management and Finance program in 2016. Jeremy first became interested in the program as a way to understand the background of business (primarily economics) and how micro & macroeconomics can impact small businesses.
His time at the University would prove to be crucial to both his career and life by providing him with a foundation for understanding business and finding a lifelong friendships and business partners.
Today Jeremy now co-owner of ZinCo Canada, a green roof supplier that designs, consults and builds complex roof spaces across Canada. A company he runs alongside his business partner and fellow U of G alumni, Jordan Hofstra. In fact, the pair met while playing rugby and were both a part of the 2016 Gryphon Rugby team that won the OUA championship title.

My favourite part of the program was the ability to choose courses that interested me most and be taught by professors that had real world experience - this provided much more than a typical academic experience.
