On November 4th, HTM faculty and students attended the 2013 Taste Canada Gala, an Oscaresque award ceremony and reception for food writers of the Canadian hospitality industry. The event was hosted by Stefano Faita, whose hit CBC show "In the Kitchen with Stefano" has produced past winners. The event took place at Oliver & Bonacini's beautiful Arcadian Court located at 401 Bay in downtown Toronto. The University of Guelph was a Gold sponsor alongside Oliver & Bonacini, Fairmont, Foodland Ontario, Zwilling J.A. Henckels, Compass Group Canada, KitchenAid, Fairmont, Delta Hotels, and more. This annual event will be an opportunity for next year as well - students are invited to attend!
