Ashley Ferreira, Hildegard Van Niekerk and Julie Ridlington, winners of a competitive selection process under the supervision of Prof. Justin Taillon, represented the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the Young Hotelier's Summit in Lausanne in Switzerland. YHS delegates came from 26 schools on 5 continents, bringing together students from the world's best hotel management schools to attend many keynotes, engage in panels and participate in focus groups and workshops on relevant industry topics.  Leading international hotel and travel companies, including Canadian luxury hotel giant Fairmont Raffles Hotels and Resorts(FRHI) sponsored all costs except for travel and accommodation.  Hildegard Van Niekerk's team placed third in the YHS challenge competition, hosted this year by FRHI's Manager of Campus Recruitment Jennifer DiRaddo (B. Comm. HAFA 2006). Congratulations!!HFTM represented at the Young Hotelier's Summit in Switzerland
