Congratulations to first year HAFA Co-op student, Helen (Michellina) Martinez and third year HAFA Co-op student Michelle Chan who were both awarded a $2,000 Tourism Cares Scholarship.  These scholarships recognize "an exemplary representative of the future of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries". As a part of the scholarship, Michelle and Helen have been invited to attend the Tourism Cares Student Mentoring Program at the NTA/UMA Travel Exchange, to be held January, 2015 in New Orleans, LA.  Our two scholarship winners finished in the Top 20 out of over 500 Tourism Cares scholarship applicants.
