Yesterday, thirty-one eager Grade 4 students from Milton's Chris Hadfield Public School spent the morning preparing healthy foods and learning the importance of healthy eating.
Their day began planting lettuce at the Guelph Centre for Urban Organic Farming (GCUOF). Later that morning they arrived at the School’s food lab and were assisted by HAFA alumni in making granola, kale chips, salad dressing and salad.
